Rain gardens are a beautiful and inexpensive way to improve urban landscapes and control stormwater. Find out how rain gardens capture rainwater from surfaces like roofs and driveways, allowing water to seep into the soil and roots of plants. Guests will learn how to design a rain garden, including site selection and plant choices. The workshop will end with a guided tour to see examples of rain gardens.

Fee: $17 ($12 member). Registration ends when class fills.
Instructor: Kate Griffin, Conservation and Adult Programs Specialist, San Antonio Botanical Garden
