Explore how to create vibrant botanical prints from the natural pigments of flowers. Flower pounding – or hammering – creates patterns on fabric by transferring flower “dye” to fabric. Learn different techniques and applications and create a unique, one-of-a-kind bandana. Before the workshop, participants can find artistic inspiration in the Huntopia exhibition. This exhibition by artist Hunt Slonem is on display May 4 through November 3, 2024.
