This edition of Culinary Passport takes us to Vietnam! With a climate and landscape surprisingly similar to Texas, Vietnam is known for its vibrant cuisine filled with fresh herbs, bold aromatics, and lively spice. Together, we’ll prepare Bánh Xèo — a savory Vietnamese crepe — alongside a refreshing Mint Chicken Salad, a comforting Chicken and Rice dish, and finish with a unique Pho-Spiced Ice Cream. Vietnam’s hot, humid climate has shaped a cuisine perfectly suited for Texas summers, so come discover flavors that thrive in the heat!
