Program Details
Explore the fun of limitless variation in this hands-on introductory workshop on the process of Gel Printmaking. This type of mono-printing utilizes a reusable gelatin plate and acrylic paints to create textured, high-contrast images without a printing press. Participants will learn about different application techniques such as image transfer, mark-making, and creating textures with natural elements from the Garden. Materials will be provided for participants to make multiple prints that they can take home after class. Attendees are welcome to enjoy the Reflections of Nature exhibition for inspiration before or after class.
