Have you ever noticed how beautiful produce is?! In the Culinary Garden, it isn’t hard to envision a regal leaf of chard or the fuzzy little orb of an apricot as the star of not only a plate but a canvas! This Saturday, we’re taking the culinary arts to a more literal level as we’ll be harvesting, creating still lives and then watercolor painting some gorgeous fruit and vegetable subjects. Tess Outlaw, Culinary Program Manager and former art teacher will guide you through this process from start to finish. While you paint your produce, you’ll also be eating it! You’ll be enjoying garden snacks as you let loose your inner botanical artist. We’ll also be imbibing a botanical cocktail, NA spritzer, wine or beer.
