Mother’s Day is blossoming a little late in the Culinary Garden but that just means we’ll be doing it bigger, badder and punnier than the one that happened previously. For this belated Mother’s Day celebration, we’ll listen to the marvelous sounds of San Antonio’s own Dirty River Jazz Band as we learn about Kombucha and make our own to take home. In this class, complete with the garden snacks moms crave, you’ll receive a Kombucha scoby, or ~mother~ and a large jar for your homemade brew. We’ll also be creating cocktails with some garden brewed ‘booch. If you are a mother or love a mother or a mother-culture brewing technique, join us for this musical, ‘mater’ of fact and fermentation class!
