Program Details

Learn how to make and dye handmade paper in this hands-on introductory class! Participants will get to make 5” x 7” paper from recycled materials by using a mould and deckle which they can take home after the class. During the paper-making process, participants will also incorporate natural magenta dye made from prickly pear fruits and enjoy a themed beverage (non-alcoholic)! While paper is drying, the class will get to see the special cactus exhibition in our conservatories. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Contact [email protected] with questions.
