The San Antonio Botanical Garden welcomes James Beard Award finalist Chef John Russ of Clemetine to the Outdoor Teaching Kitchen.
A New Orleans native, Russ brings a thoughtful approach to cooking shaped by his early culinary influences and refined through years in fine dining. Since making San Antonio home, he and his wife, Elise, have been instrumental in helping push the dining scene of The Alamo City forward.
For one night in the garden, John will share his dishes and his stories inspired by the season, the garden and reflecting the character that can be found at his signature restaurant in Castle Hills.
