The Bee’s Knees – Buzzing with Knowledge about Honey

DATE: Wednesday 5/20/26   TIME: 6:00pm - 8:00pm

The San Antonio Botanical Garden is excited to invite you to a flavorful evening in the Outdoor Teaching Kitchen, featuring special guest Cristina Torrico of Wood Valley Bees. Enjoy a curated taste of delicious bites while exploring the rich diversity of truly local honey. Learn and savor the evening while sipping on a honey-inspired cocktail and honey sweetened tea to round out the experience.

"Cristina Torrico is a passionate local beekeeper, a Texas Honey Sommelier, and a small batch honey producer. She is the first San Antonian that is an internationally trained Honey Sommelier and is also a member of The National Italian Registry of Experts in Honey Sensory Analysis. She now brings that expertise back to Texas to walk you through a presentation of the journey of nectar to honey, a guided Honey Tasting experience of local honey and beyond with small bites food pairing."

This class is recommended for all age groups and skill levels.
