Celebrate the season by adding a personal, handwritten touch to your holiday table. In this workshop, participants will learn faux calligraphy techniques and use them to create beautiful table décor with traditional paper lace doilies.
With the upcoming holidays in mind, students can personalize their pieces with names, seasonal words, or short phrases and explore different ways to incorporate their finished doilies into a place setting, napkin presentation, or holiday table display. No previous calligraphy experience is required.
Participants will leave with several handmade pieces to use on their own holiday table, along with the skills to create more at home.
Fee: $45 ($40 member). Member discount, including $3 fee waived, will be applied at checkout. Registration closes when class is filled.
